Finally Got to the Fun Part!

 
Spent pretty much all day on the roof. Got the tarpaper repaired and everything swept off.

THEN I FINALLY GOT TO PUT ON NEW SHINGLES! Here's what it looked like at 3 pm.

At 5ish, I had the shingles up high enough to lap under the edge of the short tarp. That was my goal for the day, and I made it!

Then I had to put the big tarp back on because it's supposed to rain tomorrow. All battened down and ready for wet.

I am tired and stiff and sore and HAPPY!
