Moods of My Backyard - The Storm

storm

Yesterday we had quite a storm move through here. If wasn't much compared to what people a bit south of us experienced, but it's the most interesting thing that happened. Here's the view from the lower level door. Or enjoy a short video! I'm surprised that you can't see the rain in the movie, because it was sure coming down.

You may not be able to "see" the rain in your video but I sure could hear it! Funny...this could have been filmed during one of our recent storms here in GA.
Thanks for visiting my blog. We may live in different regions but have much in common.

i do hear the rain Sharkbytes. I had similar experience when we were in Bryce Canyon, it was raining hard but none of my shots except at the car window showed the rain :(

It's almost midnight here and I'm getting ready to go to bed...I wish I could play that sound all night. It's wonderful.

That's what it looked like here last night. The wind had really kicked up and the rain was coming down in buckets. I can hear the rain in the video.

What a magical backyard! And as for the rain, we may not be able to see it, but we can *hear* it!

Ah, it's nice to see weather and yet not have to deal with it directly. ;-)

Your backyard offers a wonderful view no matter what mood it is in. Funny how you can't see the rain although it was evidently there from the sound of it. :)

I think this is from the network of storms I was finally wise enough to stay out of. Just the day before I was caught out in a sudden downpour far away from my truck. I was glad that most of the way back was under the trees.

Jean- thanks for visiting. I'll be back to your blog too.

betchai- at least you could hear it! It was pouring.

Carmen- Rain can be very soothing

Ann- lots of people have been getting this wet hot weather

Hi Walk-er- sorry I don't know your name. I love your attitude on life though. Thanks for stopping by.

rainfield- so many people are hot right now. I thing your part of the world is hot a LOT, though

Hi C- I only put blogs that I really personally like on my roll. I'll take a look, though

Dennis- you can come hide behind the big black cloud for your game

Ivy- I think the camera focused beyond it and it just blurred out

Ratty- I love the rain, but lightning can be really dangerous even when you don't think the storm is close. Be careful!

What I would do if it rained here right now! So nice.

That is such a stirring sound like a natural lullaby.

Julia- sorry that you need rain. We actually are having a wet enough year this year.

Jo- sleeping with the sound of rain is very soothing, isn't it?
